Call for Participants | Winter Print Fair at the National Print Museum

Application deadline: Friday 28 September, 5pm.

The National Print Museum launches an exciting event celebrating the richness of contemporary Irish print — the Winter Print Fair.

The Fair will launch Friday 30 November from 18.00 – 20.00 and will continue Saturday and Sunday 1 – 2 December from 11.00 – 16.00 each day. Admission to visitors is free of charge.

The Museum is currently seeking participants and submissions are welcomed from artists working in the medium of print.

Artists are invited to submit expressions of interest along with the following information to admin@nationalprintmuseum.ie:

1) Short Artist Bio
2) Description of work to be exhibited, and 5 images
3) Price range [from low to high price points; e.g. cards, unframed, framed prints]
4) Link to website or social media page(s)

Applications will be reviewed by the Curatorial Committee with an aim to curate a diverse selection of gift offerings.

Places will be available for hire at a non-refundable fee of €150 (excl. VAT) for the duration of the Fair. This fee will be put towards organising and marketing the Fair.

Each artist will be given a stand within our exhibition space on the mezzanine level. Sales will be processed directly between artists and buyers. Your stands must be staffed for the duration of the Fair.

A selection of associated crafts will be chosen for the ground floor space to complement the Fair. Artists practicing in crafts such as paper, calligraphy, and bookbinding are welcome to submit applications as outlined above. Please title applications as an ‘Associated Crafts Submission’.

Applicants will be notified on the status of their application by Friday 5 October.
