Bliain na Gaeilge Event and Project Funding, South Dublin County Council

This 2018 Creative Ireland South Dublin initiative seeks to support creative artists and creative organisations, in any discipline, working in the Irish language. Applications for this award may range from €1,000 to €10,000.

Bliain na Gaeilge 2018 is a year-long festival to celebrate both the Irish language and the 125 years since the beginning of its revival.

Bliain na Gaeilge 2018 will celebrate the Irish language through action on five themes:
1. The revival of the language over the last 125 years
2. The creativity of the language
3. The vibrancy of the language
4. The participation of the community
5. The value of our Gaeltachtaí

The community of engagement and any associated event must be within the South Dublin County Council Administrative Area. Proposals should include a public event as an outcome of the process.
