Artist Sara Villarreal de Hough will talk about the current work in the ‘9 Walls’ group exhibition at the Hyde Bridge Gallery.
Sara Villarreal de Hough is originally from Mexico now living and working in Co. Roscommon Her work explores the difficult situation and persecution many journalists are facing around the world and also is inspired by one iconic case in her country of origin: the homicide of Mexican journalist ‘Miroslava Breach’. The work is made with 70 egg containers, corn leaves, wire and polyurethane foam.
