A fan or just curious about art, an artist, a student, recent graduate, an art collector, or if you simply want to find out more about the visual arts in Belfast, this is a chance to meet studio groups, artists and galleries and find out more about the rest of the Belfast Open Studios 2016 Programme.
Thursday 13th October
Susan MacWilliam will talk through her experience of working with curators and how she prepares for studio visits. Susan will be joined by Riann Coulter, curator at the F.E. McWilliam Gallery and Feargal O’Malley, curator at the Ulster University Gallery.
Saturday 22nd October
Just how does an artist get from an idea to a finished exhibition?
Belfast Open Studios is an invitation to the public to come and see how artists work, take a glimpse into the creative processes and meet over 150 artists working in the city.
Saturday 5th November
Ten curators from across Ireland coming together to hear your ten minute pitches. You will be able to see up to three curators during the afternoon so it’s important that you pick the right curators for you.
