Just how does an artist get from an idea to a finished exhibition?
Belfast Open Studios returns for it’s fifth annual insight into the tremendous creative activity that is going on all around us, all of the time.
Over 250 professional artists are at work behind usually closed doors in studios across Belfast. They produce work that is seen and celebrated in galleries around the world, and make our lives richer through their investigation and experimentation.
Belfast Open Studios is an invitation meet the artists, explore their workplaces and get a glimpse of their creative processes in action.

Eighteen curators from across Ireland and the UK coming together to hear your ten minute pitches. You will be able to see up to three curators during the afternoon so it’s important that you pick the right curators for you.
TALK: Bjorn Hegardt (Fukt Magazine)

Bjørn Hegardt is a visual artist working mainly with drawing, and installation. In 2001 he graduated from Trondheim Academy of Fine Arts and is now based in Berlin.He is also the founder and editor of Fukt magazine for drawing and makes installations with the artist Theo Ågren
